These terms apply when you buy from shop.intellectmedicos.com. The shop is run by Intellect Medicos FZCO, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”). By placing an order you agree to these terms.
1. The book
- A Practical Companion for MRCP Part 1 is an A4 black-and-white paperback revision book.
- It is an exam revision aid for doctors preparing for MRCP Part 1. It is not clinical guidance, and it does not replace NICE guidance, the BNF or local protocols.
- Intellect Medicos is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians or MRCP(UK).
2. Price and payment
- Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). The book price is shown on the product page; delivery is added at checkout according to the option you choose.
- Payment is taken securely by Stripe when you place your order. We never see or store your full card details.
- If your card is issued outside the UK, your bank may add its own currency conversion fee.
- Each order is limited to one copy.
3. Printing and delivery
- Every copy is printed to order by our print partner and shipped directly to you with tracking.
- We currently deliver to the United Kingdom and India only.
- Delivery times are shown at checkout in working days and include printing. They are estimates, not guarantees, and can be affected by carriers, customs and public holidays.
- You will receive an email with tracking details once your book has shipped.
- Please check your delivery address carefully. Once printing has started we cannot change the address, and we are not responsible for a parcel sent to an incorrect address you entered.
- Orders to India may be subject to import duties or local taxes, which are the responsibility of the recipient.
4. Damaged, misprinted or missing books
- If your book arrives damaged or with a printing fault (for example missing, blank or out-of-order pages), email us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the problem. We will send a free replacement.
- If your book has not arrived 10 working days after the latest estimated delivery date, contact us and we will trace it and, if it is lost, send a replacement or a full refund.
5. Changing your mind
- You can cancel your order free of charge before it is sent for printing. Contact us as soon as possible after ordering.
- If you are a UK consumer, you also have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your book. Tell us by email first and we will give you return instructions. The book must be returned unused and in its original condition. You pay the cost of returning it, and we will refund the book price and the original delivery charge within 14 days of receiving it back.
- This does not affect your statutory rights.
6. Copyright
All content in the book, including text, tables, mnemonics and diagrams, is the copyright of Intellect Medicos. You may use your copy for personal study. You may not copy, scan, share or resell the content, in print or digitally, without our written permission.
7. Our liability
We take care to keep the content accurate and up to date at the time of printing, but medical guidance changes. Always check current guidance before applying anything in clinical practice. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
